Ponkan Mandarin
Ponkan Mandarin
The Ponkan mandarin, also known as the Chinese Honey Orange, is a sweet, easy-to-peel citrus fruit. It has a deep orange color, slightly flattened shape, and a thick skin that easily separates from the juicy, segmented flesh. Medium to large in size, Ponkan mandarins are popular in China, Taiwan, and Japan, enjoyed fresh or in juices and desserts. They're rich in vitamin C and typically in season during winter.
